In the mid 1980s Clifford White scored a massive New Age hit with his album Ascension. Nine years on and he's back on familiar ground. However Revelation is not simply more of the same! Gone is the childlike innocence of Ascension and in comes maturity and sophistication. This album simply oozes majestic beauty, no electronic ramblings here - just positive, powerful evocative pieces of unique music. The compositional style hasn't changed, it's merely improved with age and experience. Composer Clifford White touches the heavenly realms with this dreamy album. White's endearing and uncomplicated melodies are as easy to slip into as angel wings. "The Blessed," featuring gentle winds and angel choirs, unfolds with the stateliness of a stairway to heaven. Revelation, with its winds and wind chimes, is similar to the pageantry of Kitaro's Silk Road.
